Import Registration Certificate (IRC)
Obtain or renew your commercial / industrial IRC issued by the Office of the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports (CCI&E). Must be matched with an active 9-digit or 13-digit Business Identification Number (BIN) and e-TIN.
Letter of Credit (LC) / LCA Form Opening
Open an irrevocable documentary Letter of Credit or LCA Form through an Authorized Dealer (AD) commercial bank in Bangladesh, ensuring strict conformity with the statutory Import Policy Order (IPO).
Overseas Shipping & Document Dispatch
Foreign exporter ships the consignment and delivers negotiable shipping documents (Original B/L, Commercial Invoice, Detailed Packing List, Certificate of Origin) through banking channels.
ASYCUDA World Electronic Declaration
Licensed C&F Agent (Dider & Sons) prepares and transmits the electronic Bill of Entry (B/E) into the NBR ASYCUDA World system, generating a unique C-Number at Custom House Chattogram, Mongla, or Dhaka.
Customs Valuation & Assessment
Customs assessment officers evaluate the Assessable Value (AV) on a CIF base (plus statutory 1% landing charges), verify HS code classification, apply verified SRO concessions, and issue the duty assessment notice.
Duty Payment & Customs Release Order
Duty, VAT, AIT, and regulatory surcharges are paid via RTGS or treasury challan to Bangladesh Bank / Sonali Bank. Upon verification, the Custom House issues the official Out of Charge (Customs Release Order).
Port Delivery & Gate Pass Clearance
Shipping line Delivery Order (DO) is obtained, Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) port store charges are reconciled, and physical FCL container delivery or LCL cargo loading onto covered vans is completed.
